Retro Heroes should have a TV commerical

Retro Heroes seems to be a very popular "new" line and they're DC's World's Greatest Super Heroes.

You really can't get better than that.

Wondering why they don't have a TV commercial ?

....... actually, rethinking about this --- seems to be a lot less toy commercials made lately.

I wonder why more companies don't make commercials just for YouTube and the internet in general. Movies certainly have trailers up all over the place online. It seems like toy companies in particular (and especially toy companies who cater to adult collectors) would benefit from having internet commercials.
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

Toys R Us does several commercials for exclusive items with the tagline "you can get it now, but only at Toys R Us". It seems like they usually run those on the kid's channels around Christmas.

          So it COULD happen...

I don't know why toy companies only advertise in toy magazines....they should DEFINITELY be advertising at least online....

Not that I need any more traffic when fighting for a MOTUC at Matty Collector.....

Gone are the days w/ those great Mego commercials on during after school cartoons. Kids today just don't know what they're missing.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

I think Mattel is going the cheap route on everything they do and it shows in their quality of product. Anything to save a dime these days.

That and they know that kids are more in front of the internet than the tv anymore these days. Unless they are playing video games on the TV. Another couple of years or so and TV will probably be a thing of the past thanks to the internet.

Not to mention that the kids the toy companies are really targeting is in the 30 to 40 year old range. These are the kids that has the money to shell out to buy the goods and the toy companies know it.

Here's hoping. With all the bad press about the crappy bodies they could use this

IF Mattel was really smart.....when it comes to the new retro line they actually could use this to show that they have made improvements to the figures and the issues they currently have. Smart marketing. It actually really works when done right.
