May be a sign of dipping prices to follow if Mattel does not address the quality (or in this case lack of) issues that have been pointed out again and again.

      A Blast from the Past!

8 inch cloth costumed figures like the old "Mego" figures of the 1960's

Not a problem i lost so many of series one figures on cheap ebay bids , then i won 3 of the figires i didn't buy at TRU on ebay for under $15 EACH . it just depends on how many items are up there and how many buyers are trying at the same time. once in awhile you get a break. i wasn't gonna buy any Luthers and wound up getting 2 as i got them both under $15 each.

Yeah, but with shipping, he ended up paying more than if he had walked into a TRU and bought one...ahem...when their available. Actually the way to work around these prices is to sign up for one of their store discount cards. They shoot me specials every week. For instance, this past week I had a coupon for 20% off any one item in the store. That would have knocked down the price of a Retro figure to 15.99, so it pays to get one and the card is free.

I signed up for the card a while back. I get the discounts each week as well. I just have not used them as I have yet to buy anything from TRU lately to make it worth my while.

I keep batting around the idea of buying the Retro Heroe's, but I keep getting turned off by the bad bodies they come with. I just recently landed a set of the retros on a trade anyway so it all worked out well.
