Thanks. It's lonely on the Island of Lost Megos.

Nice read! I like these Mego-like Lost figures. But I don't think I can afford to take on another line right now. Too bad these didn't come out a few years ago when the show was hot and the economy wasn't in the tank.

Good blog. I think ABC made a mistake pushing for Jacob/MIB in wave 1. Fans of LOST want the main characters - that they followed for 6 seasons. Jack/Kate/Sawyer/Ben would have been the smart choice, in my opinion.

Yep, it's not the strongest way to start, though I can understand the idea of making them the Comic-Con exclusive. Still...from what I saw of Wave 2 it would've been a great start to lead with Jack and Sayid and Sawyer then Wave 1's Ben, Hurley and Locke. It seems like it was ABC's decision.

I kinda lost interest in these figures, just because the way the show ended, major disapointment. Plus I think these figures arent that great, the heads look very cheap, and the cloths, well what else could u have given them, are just plain and drab, I reckon this line needs lots of accesories because of this.

I've been sitting on the Lost Mego fence for budgetary reasons, but darnit if your blog and custom project isn't giving me pause to lean over to one side!

Can't wait to see the Bif Bang Pow figures populating your playsets. At the very least when Locke is released, hopefully he'll find happiness in the arms of CTVT's Peg Bundy! We're all rooting for those two.

Let's face it, how many people would get MIB and Jacob if they were in let's say wave 6 or 7, when all the main characters had already been released? Not too many I'd guess.
Buy releasing them first BBP has ensured good sales numbers cause every collector will get these knowing that the rest of the line depends on how good these 2 do. Smart decision

In a perfect world, where everybody will always want to buy LOST product, your scenario is accurate. Unfortunately interest in LOST is waning fast and the likelihood of this series extending past a couple of waves is not certain.

If Palisades taught us anything, it's that you can't stack your first series with secondary characters and hope fans will support the line because they want to see the a-list characters later on. If fans can't get their favorites right away, they will wait out those initial waves and while they're waiting, you have unsold product sitting on store shelves.

I was a huge supporter of these, but now know to get them where I would want them it will be a few bucks more per figure. If these do not sell, I can't look for the rest of the lostaways, so I am going to pass on these. And that's coming from a guy that wants a dharma tattoo, (No not Dharma and Greg)
