    Time Frame for Retro Robin?

I'm definitely looking forward to waves 3 and 4, but was still bummed that Robin was not in either one. If he does happen to appear in wave 5, when would that come out?

Not sure when, maybe year from now.Don't worry though, if the line survives, I feel sure we'll get Robin.

I really could not imagine having to wait another year just to have a Robin. I do not know for sure and it really does not bother me either way personally. I am completely happy with the original Mego Robin that I have.

On the other hand for those that must have another Robin to add to their collection. As I stated before what is Batman without his side kick Robin? I just almost know that they will make him. Like most of us I just do not know when. My gut feeling tells me that he will be thrown into the mix in the very near future. Then again we will just have to wait to see what actually does materialize.

We should see him sometime next year. This is what I would like to see:

A classic Richard Grayson Robin (like the one above) the same high as all other Retro heroes. Same sculpt only NOT smiling! Bare arms and legs should be covered with flesh colored fabric to cover articulation joints.

I would pretty much agree with most you described above. I could go for a Retro Robin that looks similar to that. I am still not sure if I would want Robin to be 8" or a little bit shorter. I always thought that he was shorter than Batman in the original show??

That's just another Dick Grayson head, 50s and 60s style, which really has no point in the DCUC line since they basically use a generic bronze-modern age for everything else. Shame they ignored Todd.

I'll probably get screamed at for this, but I'd like to see a Tim Drake Robin instead (Yeah, I know, I hear you all screaming "SACRILEGE!!!! MADMAN!!!! CHURL!!!! FOOL!!! NON-DICK GRAYSON AS ROBIN FAN!!!").

Hey, I prefer Grayson as Nightwing, what can I say? Modern Nightwing, not the disco-suit version ("BLAST YOU, TIM!!!! INSUFFERABLE DOLT!!! SARACEN PIG!!! SPARTAN DOG!!! ROMAN COW!!!! WHY HATE ON DISCO-SUIT NIGHTWING, TIM? WHY? TALK! TALK, ANGLO-SAXON HUN!").

Geez, you folks are soooo touchy!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Sweet Robin figure!!! What line is that from? Is that part of the current DC Universe 6 inch figures? Nice example! I agree completely.

Yup! Just announced at SDCC as part of the upcoming Mattel DC Universe Classics Wave 16. Others in this wave are superb renditions of The Creeper and The Riddler. Check them out:

Incredible... Thanks for the link! Am I the only one completely overwhelmed by the sheer volume of product at the San Diego Comic Con? Simply incredible figures from all eras and in different formats. I'm really completely speechless.

This is the Robin / Dick Grayson figure I hope gets made, but with a removable mask! I've waited 30 plus years for this figure and if I just knew that they are going to make an older Robin figure with a removable mask then I don't mind waiting.

As long as we keep getting figures like Captain Marvel, Flash, Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter, I can wait for Robin. I'd be happy with seeing heroes like Hawkman/Hawkgirl, Plasticman, Supergirl, Black Canary, Atom, Firestorm, Red Tornado, The Question, even Batgirl and Nightwing before seeing a Robin.

One thing to consider is that Mattel may decide to do a bunch of Batman universe figures in 2012 to coincide with Batman 3 (rumored to be Riddler based), much in the same way they are doing with Green Lantern.

It would be really cool if around November it was announced that Robin would be released as an exclusive. Imagine the thought of having him under the tree at Christmas. Talk about your ghosts of Christmas pasts!

I like this Robin alot but he's a bit bulky.

As for the RA Robin, his arms will most definitely be covered. They'd have to be to make those horrid gauntlets work.
