I agree with the whole approach here. The sculpt looks great and the outfit is well thought out (with the classic Mego approach). He will definitely be part of my collection when he's available.

I like him! Not minding the green suit a bit, although I'm sure he'll be green underneath & customizable.


Having said that, not making Hawkman bare-chested would disappoint me--one of the best things about mattel's body is the shoulder sculpt/articulation imo.

Maybe he took off his cape and put it over a puddle so some little old lady wouldn't have to step in it. Of course the little old lady probably ran away from him screaming!

Don't know anything about the character, but I love the figure. I agree the green bodysuit is Mego-y. I'll be buying every one of the new Retro figures except for the two exclusives. No interest in them. I have the Sinestro I wanted.

He looks good for a prototype, very Mego-ish. I can't wait to see the finished product. I was never too happy with my Martian Manhunter custom. So, I will certainly be buying this figure when it comes out. Is there a villain to go with him??
