    So no Flash Gordon at SDCC?

    He and Ming are due next month. That can't be a very good sign. Did I miss an update or photos from the con somehow?

                          Really? I think the heads are dead on. And they're not translucent anymore like the ones we saw a couple of weeks ago

                              I agree, I think Flash looks GREAT! Especially on Doc's new Body with the "bulked up Arms".

                                  That's good news. In fact, that issue was the only real reservation I had about getting these. And once the ZICA Buck Rogers comes out, we can have the crossover we never really could have as kids.

                                              Y'know, looking at the head sculpts for both figures, I'm picking up just a hint of the old Alex Raymond drawings of both characters, as well as the actors' likenesses. Really, really nice work on these, and I can't wait for mine to come in!

                                                  I've never see this movie before, but someone was playing it in the break room at work. It's obviously dated, but the hint of Star Wars made it more watchable.

                                                          The head sculpts look pretty good, but the industrial paint job doesn't bring out the detail.
