That's kind of what I'm thinking, as well. The others are coming, so it is very cool to see some of the ones I never thought would be produced in this format. I never imagined Darkseid being made at all, much less this soon, so this is a total surprise.

Wave 3 looks cool, wave 4 too but that I can pass on. I'll see once they come out.

But wave 3 isn't till 2011? I was hoping before Christmas.

Darkseid looks really nice but he is not taller then the other figures so I will probably skip him. Black Adam I have no interest in...Dr. Sivana I would have got. Martain Manhunter with a green skin suit??? Why couldn't they just use a green painted body like Hasbro and DC Direct did? Looks weird to me, I think I'll pass.
I agree on Cheetah having yellow hands, and the cut on top of WW bustier and less hair..but these are prototypes and could change...hopefully...
As for Martian Manhunter in green body suit,... is what makes this figure "retro", and how Mego would have made him,...in a body suit to cover the joints (Tarzan, WW, Green Arrow, Supergirl, and Falcon).

At last Flash will be mine! Very happy to see wave 3 confirmed. Interesting wave 4 choice with Martian Manhunter paired up with Darkseid. Not sure if there is a history there. Agree that Cheetah will look better with yellow hands. Don't mind the gold on Wonder Woman, Shazam, and Black Adam. Would be happy with yellow as well. Captain Cold is my favorite Flash rogue. With the exception of the Mattel male bodies flaws, these look great and I will pick up one of each. Not sure about Sinestro/Guy or the Matty GL exclusives. I'll want to see more pictures and pricing before I commit to those.

Is Captain Marvel's suit the button top or a 70s style red bodysuit? I couldn't quite tell from the pic, but my optimistic mind seems to see the button top.

If you release too many B-listers you'll kill the line as well, before they can release other A-listers

                            I agree

Releasing too much junk will drive people away from the line.

Blue Chip Heroes is what sells them to the masses (which is where the real money is at)

                            Look at wave 1

                            Superman is the best seller

I couldn't agree more. Padding a line with B-listers is a scary tactic on a line that isn't one of Mattel's top-dollar lines and probably will never be considering the nature of the line and the target audience. It's certainly a "fan line" and could be dropped quickly if it stops paying for itself.

It's a bit unnerving to see the first chance for a Robin, Joker, or Batgirl at least a year away (roughly). In fact, it's killed a great deal of interest I had in this line knowing we won't see any more Batfamily characters for such a huge span of time. I hate to say it but a DC line needs to cater to the Bat-fans, somewhat. Batman and Two-Face are a great start but then nothing "Bat" for a year or so is a huge blow.

I'll definitely order Waves 3 and 4, but I'm not looking forward to the GL Exclusives at MattyCollector. I'd love to get 'em, but from all the horror stories I've heard about that website...

Well, I'll try to get 'em anyway come February.

Kudos and congrats to everyone involved in making these figures! Well done!
