To each his own. I hope it's 8" - same as Megos.

Definitely "each his own" here, and with multiple issues too...

...to be retro with the characters costumes/images is one thing....

...but to fall into some of the same painful oversights that Mego made years
ago, well, that's a tough one for me to swallow.

They make all the TEEN TITANs, and they are a different scale than ROBIN?
That's a big "ouch" to me that I'd love to see fixed.

To me, this line is more of a tribute to the "era" than the WGSH "line" itself,
which only released an 8 inch ROBIN because they were releasing
all the most popular DC characters first, and all they had to put them on
was 8 inch bodies.

I had no problem with Robin being 8" tall when I was a kid. Actually liked it since he fit in all the Bat-vehicles and didn't fall out. So to me it was not an over-sight by Mego in making him 8" like the other heroes. For me it was always Batman AND Robin. Besides the Titans were so far down the road they weren't even on Megos radar when the WGSH line started. So, I still hope he's 8" tall.

As for WW having removable braclets that's an interesting question. I guess it depends on how they work her costume.

My preference would be that ALL the Titans be 8", and sculpted to look slightly older (late teens)---especially Robin.

I think this would be the most cost-effective way for Mattel. I don't care which way, as long as there is a Robin that matches the other Titans.

I hope Robin is 8" and not Titan size. If they update his head sculpt I think he'll look great. I do like the Hero/Villain combo.

I feel the same- but if the Titans are made shorter, I'll still get them for my nephew, and have custom 8" Titans for my collection. I thought Robin was fine because on the Super Friends cartoon, he wasn't that much shorter than Batman, and when the WGSH were made, weren't the Titans all college age? Just like Peter Parker- and I couldn't be paid to own a Lion Rock size Spiderman LOL. So I'm not a fan of Lion Rock size Titans- But like someone mentioned, each to his own taste.

I suspect Wonder Womans' costume will be executed very similar to the Mego 12" version - yellow soft plastic tiara, gray (or blue) plastic bracelets - or perhaps made out of the gauntlet/belt material. Obviously the trunks will be fabric, and I look for the bustier to either be painted on (like the 12" Mego) or similar to the cheap bendie Barbie version - fabric held up with clear plastic straps. And, of course she'll have the red rubber boots. I don't think there'll be any question we'll get an improvement over the original Mego with the silk screened costume on the body stocking. Just so she has the eagle instead of the "W" and a lasso I'll be happy!

When revamped in the early 80s, they were 20somethings but definitely
adults and the comic was very popular.

So if you do the old line-up, 7 inch looks better - especially if you want
to show them next to their adult hero counterpart. But if you make the
80s characters in 7 inch, they don't look right smaller than the other heroes.

Excellent point Paul. I personally would rather see them in 8" scale. Like Robin especially...done in the 70's College age "Neal Adams Robin".

I think the 8 inch format is the way to go. Plus I think those characters will see a bigger cross section of the buying community since the cartoon was big for so many years then you have the 70's and 80's era fans as well. I think it would be a big hit across the board. Wow. My mouth salivates at the thought of a 80's era Teen Titans figure line. Oh boy...

I'd prefer ALWAYS deferring to the SILVER AGE 60s rather than the tail TAIL
end of the BRONZE AGE early 80s with this retro line.

But so far the figures done by Mattel are not 80's versions. They are
60's/70's versions. So Robin and the TT should all be 7". Mego even realized that by the time they got around to do the TT. I'm sure Mattel will know better then to release an 8" Robin. Even in the 80's Robin was way shorter then Batman. I have comics to proove it.

I like the idea of a slightly smaller Robin, & if Mattel goes to the trouble of doing that, I'd be happy to see other Titans follow.

But, if they do an 8-inch Robin, that's okay--I'd then prefer any later TT to be consistently 8-inch.

I'd love them to be retro figures and be the Teen Titans otherwise just call them titans and let them be 8" but Teen Titans should be just that Teen's and be smaller and I'd love Wonder Girl to be in her original outfit from the 60's.

Can't wait to see Wonder Woman! I do hope she's greatly improved with removable accessories.
