Is everyone who bought wave one going to buy wave 2 ?

I preordered a full set on Amazon. I was really iffy about whether I wanted to get Two-face or not. He's a fairly hit or miss character as far as stories go, and I'm not keen on his classic costume. Perhaps the biggest factor for me picking up this line was the Super Friends influence. The fact they passed over Scarecrow kind of upsets me for that reason. However, after seeing photos of the characters, I have to admit he will probably be my second favorite from the line so far (Behind Black Manta).

Can't wait for wave 2 to finally hit! Very excited about all the characters. I have wave one and Green Arrow (all opened because of the globby stuff inside the bubble); so I'll probably only pick up one set and open them all!

I don't want to chase these down at TRU. I have one set ordered through Amazon. That will be all unless any of them are defective in costume or paint. Really looking forward to wave 3. I want my Flash!

I thought I was going to get all of these, but after I got the first wave I realized they just were never going to be Mego WGSH enough for me--and that's not really a complaint about Mattell and bodies and all that, it's just not possible to make what I really want without a time machine. I kept Lex and GL on Doc bodies because they were the figures I really wanted Mego to make. If they come out with a Flash I will probably get that. But that's about it for me.

But I'm more interested in the other 8 inch figs EMCE and BBP and Zica are making.

I really intended to buy Manta and Two-Face only, but something told me to grab one of each. Probably because i really wanted everyone to see them, and judge them for themselves. Oh who am I kidding, I got the fever...

It was great seeing better shots of Wave 2. As stated on the other thread, I have a better opinion about them, and that is a nice surprise. However, it doesn't change my purchasing plan, which means I'll wait for them to be discounted or find them for a better deal on Ebay down the road. The cost is still too high for what they are...and what they lack. The other eight inch lines coming out from BBP and Zica remain at the top of my priority list right now. I WILL get wave two though... Just not at Mattel's price. Nowhere close.

Despite their flaws, I like 'em & plan to get future waves, even multiples of some.

For certain characters I've always wanted to customize, these are a (yes) cheaper route...

I'll probably spring for two sets again, give one set to my sons and tweak the other for me. I'm still iffy on Aquaman....something about that head. Maybe it's the skin tone, I dunno.

I drove across the border for two things today, one was Dunkin' Donuts coffee and the other was wave 2. At least I got the coffee.

I'm comitted to this line for my faves but like all superhero lines they''' (hopefully) eventually drift into characters I don't personally like and I'll start getting picky.
