Since I found a Canadian retailer for these, I broke down and ordered both waves. I ended up having to wait for the first wave, as Supes, Lex, and GL had sold out. the retailer got his order in from Mattys second run of figures (according to the seller anyways), and shipped the package out asap. I was happily surprised to find a lot of the issues I've seen on figures I've bought before (Bought GA, GL, and Supes from the US previously). No goo in the package...no runs in the material visible from outside the bubble, and best yet, the waist set up is the same as GA's...aka the wobble problem was abscent. Sadly, Sinestro was still stock from wave one. He's oozing goo like a 12 year old kid who just ate a pizza and a bag of chips. He's wobbly, and wont straighten up, and has some funky issues with his belt!!
The Supes and GL I bought before took some major restringing to fix their issues, and I'll have to do the same with Sinestro. Just wanted to let folks know that at least some of the issues do appear to have been addressed....or I got real lucky?....I'm inclined to believe the former has happened.
(Sad note. I gave my previous Supes and GL to some friends kids. Both met horrific fates at the hands of a couple of under 10 year old hooligans and their little dog henchman! )
