A few STAR TREK questions

The only thing that don't jump up and bite my behind about Captain Pike being made is it was already made by Playmates in 9" (which is close to Mego size)

I would get more excited at characters that Playmates never made, like Brady's Commodore Decker, Kor, Kang, Gary Seven and Sarak ... and other characters that should have been made like Harry Mudd.

Pike and Talosian just don't do it for me.
It would be nice if all Playmates 9" characters were written off the list.

Well, I guess it's a matter of taste. Playmates aren't quite right alongside of megos so I passed on those. There are plenty of characters to do though! Sarek would be great too!

Have you checked Wyldpny's TOS customs?
Granted, not all of the characters are interesting or known enough to be made, but there's still enough of them to keep the line going for quite a while

I was refering to the main cast, but I'd sure love to see more from TOS. I would love to see Ruk! Also I'd love to see all the gorgeous women who graced TOS to see figures as well. Ellan of Troyius, That Which Survives- Losira, Roger Korby's Android Assistant- Don't remember the name but Yowza!!! and all of Mudd's Women.

Next Generation and DS9 hit their 20 year anniversaries already without so much as a peep. I don't think making a new line of figures MEGO style will happen. Too many characters and not enough popularity.

I don't know. I think the Captains and maybe Frist Officers might do ok. I'd buy them.

Yes! I too would like to see some more series "accurate" Costumes. Like the Andorian & the Romulan. Since they already have the Figures made...it shouldn't be that exspensive for a Costume change?

Exactly! I'd love that version of an Andorian and the other, I think his name was "Thelev". I'd also like the Romulans to have those uniforms and the blue ones as well.

I also think that TNG retros would probably be successful if they did the right characters first. I find it hard to believe people would pass on Worf or Data. DS9 characters like Quark would definately be interesting as well.

I didn't buy any playmates figures so anything they made would be new to me in Mego size and fit in with the rest of my collection and therefore be on my list to buy. But we need at least another 20 figures from TOS before branching out to the other shows.
