I wasn't that bad, I just played really hard. I played with the ER guys a lot. They were not made by Mego but I liked playing with them. My first Megos were Batman and Robin, then I got the Penquin. They were so cheap, I would run down to Macy's and buy them for like 2 dollars a piece. I remember one Christmas I got 14 Megos. I filled out the order form from a comic book and handed it to my mom, and told her it was my Christman list. Megos were a big part of my childhood. We were a poor family but somehow I manged to go through a ton of Megos. Wish I would have preserved and saved them, but I was just a kid.

14 for one Christmas?!? I didn't even have that many as a kid. Awesome parents!

I hated the T1's they broke so easily. So when the new bodies came out I instantly realized it and loved the improvement.

I had one hand-me-down T1 superman which I was regularly re-stringing and wishing was on a better body because I "wanted to love it" but found the T1 off-putting, and one 12" Magnetic Batman which you'd think I was using to scrape the avocado paint off of the refrigerator.

I remember wondering why the smaller bodies weren't as well put together as the 12", but MEGOs just weren't that available around me for me to have noticed a T1/T2 change. There were a few clearance french card FF figures, zombied with broken knees by my grandmother's house (the only WGSH I ever saw in the wild) - but by that time I'd moved on to 3 3/4" star wars and micros even if I did want to buy broken toys.

My MEGO fire didn't catch until I got back into them at 15 or 16 and then it was T2 all the way - I remembered the hassle of the T1 and avoided buying figures with that body.
