I love the way he looks but hate the mattel bodies. I will buy a few to customize as Batman is my favorite hero. I do agree this line is doomed if the bodies don't change Dr. Mego save us! get mattel to fix those bodies.

Ya know, I so don't want this line to fail. I want the powers that be to fix this. They won't but that is what I want...
I waited too long for these to come back. I just wish they had done things properly. The Trek repro's were awesome. Perfect? No but they were done right. They corrected some age old omissions like Chekov and Sulu and fixed some mistakes like the Gorn. Sure there were a few flaws here and there and some issues with cracking etc but they did it right in spirit. You don't get the feeling like they don't care or are just peddling crap.
Unfotunately I get that feeling from Mattel. I can see Doc's influence in the choice of characters and sense his trying to do the same thing here as was done with Trek but so far this is a disaster. The body's are wrong as are half of the head sculpts. How can you mess up Superman AND Batman?Comment

"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

I always enjoyed those Barbie Spider-Man toys. I don't think I own any, but I liked checking Toys R Us or KB and seeing what ToyBiz had thought up for Spider-Man to do today.
As far as Batman goes, I think I will stick with the Hasbro clothed 8" versions. I especially love the one that came with Robin. Now that's a happy Batman!Comment
