In reference to what? "High-end collectibles"? Certainly not to what Megos originally retailed for (adjusted for inflation). I'm glad sales have exceeded expectations, but I don't understand the reasoning. Good sales=> higher production numbers=> lower cost. (Or at least the same cost.) Isn't that how it's supposed to work?

    Price

They are still 19.99 in my neck of the woods. This thread is kind of ironic coming off the heals of the close-out thread. I just want to know exactly when Wave 2 is coming out, I want to be first in line. I am really excited about the new Batman. When all the mego-like figures coming out I have decided to focus buying DC and Trek new. The Twilight and Monsters I will buy close out.

It'll probably kill any chances of Marvel figures being done by Hasbro if the sales go down because of the increased price.

They're just plastic and cloth like any other figure
    I agree.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

It's hard to argue that raising prices is a terrible idea if the product is doing better than expected. Ideally, they'll now have enough margin to put this line on sale, and work it into some of their ad circulars.

The biggest drawback is that dealers are selling these as "used" on Amazon for under 20 bucks. That's not going to help TRU in the long run.

it depends on the economy, and the rate of inflation.
