If I could buy them for that cheap in the Great White North, I'd be getting extra Sinestros and sticking them in GL and Sinestro Corps uniforms.

If you live in NYC you would know that THIS Toys R Us buys things in EXCESS and has been since it opened, so I wouldn't make a general judgement based on THIS specific stores action or reaction...what I would do instead is take advantage of their misjudgment and buy them if the price is right with you...
If you have purchased them and are still unhappy, you always have this route: Mattel BBB Complaint
Constantly complaining over here on these boards doesn't seem to get the message across...again, if you're that disappointed AND have already purchased them, the BBB seems to be your best option if Matty Collector's is ignoring your complaints.
My son likes them and he's having a ball with them...so there are no complaints in my household.Comment

If you notice the Time Square TRU has the price marked as $22.99......this particular TRU brought in many many wave one combo cases......sold all the supes ,lantern's and more than half the sinestro's and luthors....they just need to make room for wave two...they are not on clearance(the price has to be $XX.98 to indicate that)......this TRU does this all the time with any toy they have to much of....when wave two arrives these pieces will likely get moved to the sale isles no where near the DC figure isle"Thats the ticket laddie"Comment

I'm suspecting we'll be seeing discounted Sinestros and Luthors at Toy and Comic Shows over in my end of the country. I've seen discounted Treks for $5-$8.Comment

I just saw Luthor and Sinestro in a TRU in Douglaston (the edge of Queens -
which is one of the 5 boroughs of New York City) and they were $22.99.
Oh yeah, they did have 1 Green Lantern - no Superman.
A five mile drive on the Long Island Expressway brings me to the Glen
Cove Rd. TRU in Westbury where the same figures are $19.99 - but
no GL or Supes.Comment

Sorry I may not have been clear to non-Long Islanders.
Westbury is Nassau County - outside the city of New York.Comment

I stopped in at one of the larger/newer TRU in Dallas and they had one peg full (sans sups) at regular price . . . no close our here . . . I wish they were, as I think that would be an indicator that wave 2 is on the way.My Custom Figures

Sinesto and Luthor $8.92 at TRU Manhattan
I stopped in the manhattan TRU this afternoon figuring to pick up a Sinestro at $11.99. PLENTY of Sinestros and Luthors on the peg at $11.99. Nice suprise when the cashier rang it up, it was priced at $8.92 !! Total with tax was $9.71. It was tempered by the fact that when I got home I realized that Sinestro's ring wasn't painted. I hadn't even noticed when I bought him as I was sweating buckets at that point after walking 10 blocks from my job. My Lantern and Arrow are still carded so this was my first time actually handling one of the figures. I can see why so many people say the figures are wobbly but it seems that Sinestro stands pretty steadily if posed the right way. Anyway, for less than $9 bucks I can't complain!Comment
