Some people might look at it like a disgrace because the person is dead - making an "action figure toy" of him.

She probably has enough money that she don't care about not getting revenue from a toy of him.

I know for a fact that Bif Bang Pow wouldn't have to pay an extra nickel to make a Rod Serling figure, they just have to get Mrs. Serling to approve the usuage.

I don't think it's an issue of money. Carol Serling, Rod's widow, just doesn't want his likeness to appear as an action figure.

I'd love to see a Jack Klugman TZ figure so I can do that Oscar Madison figure I've always dreamed of. Okay, maybe not.

On a more serious note, the whole line feels incomplete without Rod. I'm excited about the line still, but Rod needs to be in it. That means more money for the licensing, but it's a must have for this set. Even those who don't want the whole line or retro Megos are going to want that one.

Lets hope for a "Marcia" Anne Francis as the living mannequin! Julie Newmar as a "Devil Woman" too! or maybe even Billy Mumy with his toy phone who talks to the dead or himself as the little brat with powers, that sends people to ...the fields!

^ But perhaps, like Burgess Meredith, BBP might be willing to get the license because you can use Shatner for 2 characters (Nick of Time and Nightmare at 20000 Feet) and Meredith can be used for 4 characters I think it was (Time Enough at Last, Mr Dingle the Strong, The Obsolete Man, Printer's Devil)

^ I would think Shatner would be one of those harder likenesses to score that Doc was talking about

I'd love to have a black & white Shatner to go with the Gremlin. I might have to try and do a custom.

some actors do not have families so there likeness fall in public domine.
Marlin Brando, when they did his voice and likeness and later in toys, for the super Man Returns, they did out of spite, because of all the Problems he gave during the 78 movie, and he had no living heirs, that could do anything , chris Brando is in Prison nothing he can do about it .Did not have the funds to hire a lawyer to stop it or get Royaltease.

Some actors don't have the lawyer power to prevent their likeness from being
used, but the iconic ones - which are the ones you want - have people on
    the watch for this.

I don't know if the heirs to Art Carney police action figures.
