Wow...this is (will porbably be) my first purchase with Matty.

But in addition to the $20 Green Arrow...

Shipping is $8.70 and Tax is $2.55

(I realize Matty has no control over tax.)

Really Matty...$11.25 in fees on a $20 product?

Yeah it was pricey to send it to Canada and it took FOREVER. When I ordered something from Barbie Collector last week it cost me only $15 shipping and came a few days later.

This is the way it is...some people have to pay tax,some don't...shipping is shipping...the more you get the better the shipping value will be

Not all the time. Sometimes you'll get socked a higher shipping price if you order a lot. They'll get you no matter what.

It's the "and handling" charges of the S&H that really bug me.

It seems more like a hidden cost to drive up profits rather than a fair amount necessary to ship the product.

Yeah, nothing like paying $24 shipping on something you are already paying 30+ dollars for and getting the package with a clear mark of $9.00 shipping on it and it's shipped in a crap box with old newspapers in it for packaging.

How much do you think it should be to ship a carded item, just curious. Tax depends on what state you live in.

U.S.P.S. Priority Mail for a carded Mego figure runs about $10-$15 with insurance. That's more than what it costs Mattel. No one is getting robbed on shipping as best as I can tell. Same for overseas folks. Shipping overseas from the U.S. is not cheap guys. I sent a medium box to some friends in Austrailia and it cost me $50. $8.70 is not bad for in-U.S. shipping in my opinion.
