Pairing Captain Marvel (Shazam) with Doctor Sivana seems like an obvious choice to me.

It's definitewly what I WANT... but I'm not gonna take the rap
for him to be a big ol' perwarmer....and I think the chances are good.

BLACK ADAM? Don't like the character half as much SIVANA
but I think he's a better financial choice.

I agree, but after Luthor maybe it's not the best marketing option. Sivana's costume probably costs more to produce, too.

I hated the Mego Shazam because of the cape,I'm not too excited to get the Mattel one. I'd much rather see Flash. I hope Shazam is not in wave 3. I have been dying to see Flash.

As for Black Adam I think he is a poor choice for a villian since he got more popular in the Modern Age. If they doing classic 70's I would think a Dr. Sivana with Mr. Mind would be a much cooler character to pair up with Shazam.

This is fun. I love it when the Doc throws a little feedback/internal knowledge into the mix. Just when we think we have it figured out, the wrench it tossed in. Just when we thought we were getting Flash, we get Shazam. But...Who knows? Thanks Doc, keep it up. I love it. The good news is we are all so interested that these characters will hopefully show up in due time. I am ready to make those trips to TRU to get these Mego dudes and ladies.

I think it was a few post above mine.

My post was tongue firmly planted in cheek.. as I just found it funny that Doc mentioned Cap Marvel and the next thing you know Cap has replaced FLASH.

Goes to show how words aren't really read/understood many times, by many people.. just every 10th word or so gets absorbed.

I hope we get a classic Teen Wonder Dick Grayson Robin. Parted hair. Basically the 9 1/2" Robin shrunk down. But I'm not sure how the bare-legged Robin will look on the Retro body.

You're right - I should just keep silent. I forget that any casual
observation I make is subject to intense scrutiny.

I really didn't have any motive behind my comment regarding
who may be in wave 3 or who may not be. I am not trying
to confuse or mislead anyone.

It is always Mattel's decision to change the line-up anytime
before the release. And that sentence does not have any
hidden meaning. It's just a simple statement.

So very true! I think sometimes those who are in the "know" would be better served to just remain silent and quit stirring the pot, since too much is taken out of context. I would just consider Flash, Captain Cold, Wonder Woman, and Cheetah the next wave unless it is SAID they are NOT. Saying a character is not part of the next wave is NOT a disclosure violation. He can't say that because he knows they are! Thanks Amazon!

Speaking of TRU, I went by one of the stores yesterday and there were twenty...TWENTY... figures hanging from the pegs. Where are they going to put wave two? Will they order wave two? If they mark down wave one, how does that impact sales of wave two? Interesting situation.
