Good deal except on shipping,I has 5 figures in my cart and it showed 22.23 and the figures were only 22.50.

Yep, they have crazy shipping. Certainly not a bad price, but not the bargain it first seems...

I'm not 100% sure where the stores are located (Texas, I think)... but I wonder if you can pick them up for that price in store?

I just bought 2 Kirks in North Austin at Hastings for $13.99. I hoped to resell them but I see them on eBay and stuff for $9 so I guess not.

They were apparently marked down from $17.99. They only had one other figure, Cheron, and someone had him hidden away so I left him in place. I don't need one. I don't need 2 Kirks either but I was hoping to help out Doc. I apparently only bought 1 Emcee Kirk.

I now have bought at least 2 of each except for Mugato (none), Keeper and Cheron (one each).

It doesn't affect me one way or the other if you buy more Trek - unless
you buy them from me.

This is the reality of retail - once they sell X units, some retailers just
write off the inventory and show the difference as a loss against profits.

Hastings is selling them for less than they paid for them - that's their
business. If I didn't still have 200 Keepers myself, I would be tempted
to buy them.

Sorry Doc, I understand but it doesn't compute that it is not better in some way for them to be bought off the shelf.

Of course that may actually be the case in the first weeks of release. I'll check your site again. I didn't need these guys per se, I just wanted to see if they were still there or if others were there. I have not been on the boards hardly in a while.

I still have yet to return the GL and Sinestro to Mattel... don't know if they will still take them.

I did post elsewhere I think that your Cheron was AWESOME and I don't think the Retro Cloth Heroes are half as well done.

You might as well consider them loose, I bought a bunch for that price and everyone was sent individually in an envelope mailer and was crushed. I just wanted the parts so no biggie but wanted to warn you.

I would only get this stuff from Doc if you want it brand new, since he made it all happen and all. I ahve bought some opened used stuff from people on this site but if I get brand new its from DOC.

I appreciate the loyalty - my stock is running low - except of course
for the Keeper and Cornelius. Hopefully Diamond will ask for more,
since retailers tell me they can't get more from Diamond.
