Howdo you want to see Mr Stay Puft done Mego-style?

I'm just trying to figure out how that would work and look.

Fat body with a padded suit just doesn't seem right to me. I'm thinking this would demand an original sculpt. Ditto Slimer.

They couldn't really use Mego style bodies. I still have both my original Mr. Staypuft and my Slimer...and the firehouse.

Vinyl rotocast. Pretty much the ONLY way to make him by today's standards.

If we're talking Mego 1970's standards, I would say stuffed pillow buddy.

Probably a stuffed suit, but they'd need a bigger bubble or it'll never fit on the card

This would actually be a brilliant idea. Do 6 figures, head, body, 2 arms and 2 legs. That would rule, and definately make people buy em all and open em.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Given the fact that they wouldn't do a bigger bubble to accommodate a removable helmet Manta, would they do one for Mr Stay Puft?

It looks like the Ghostbusters themselves can barely fit in that blister.

They probably won't, that's why I can't see them doing this one.

So how do you explain the fact that he's on the prototype packaging?

I'm taking it to mean that Mattel at least intends to try to include him in the retro-cloth line.

Do him like one of those...what do you call them, Shogun Warrior? Big Robot with the launching fist...That would be retro and cool. They have a company doing a Stormtrooper. So why not a Stay Puft too?

Maybe a mail-in figure. Make each Proof of purchase unique to each figure and make them buy one of each figure to get Puffy. Same results as the BAF but you would need to mail it in and I'm sure pay the added postage.

12 inch megoish to be taller than the 8 inchers.
