    I would love to see a J'onn J'onzz figure. His accessory could be some Oreos and milk

    Actually, a cool accessory could be his detective coat and hat from his "human" alter ego.

    Spamn....Re: Two Face etc -- I'm talking about why he probably wouldn't have worked in the Challenge of the Super Friends cartoon --- which had a certain tone it. Simlarly why TwoFace worked in the Dark Knight but not in the Joel Schumacher film.

    (I could be wrong of course...but just thinking outloud.)

    Hey, I still want Wendy, Marvin, Wonderdog, Zan, Jayna and Gleek! Since I do want Wonder Woman, I guess I'd have to break down and buy Superman (and give him new shorts so he's not so "hippy" looking.) I have Batman, Robin and Aquaman already. (I'd only want the basics).

    TwoFace is a complicated character (and design) for that matter. Didn't really fit into the simplistic (but enjoyable) stories on the show. The good folks at EMCE who are doing this line are able to make choices today that they wouldn't/couldn't then.

    They are walking a fine line between reproducing the line we grew up on and creating something new and current.
    I forget, but was Two Face in the Filmation cartoon? I know Clayface was.

    But if Two Face was in the comics, he was fine for cartoons. Superhero comics were read by if not aimed directly at kids for decades, and that's where he came from.

    And what happens when you give Supes a glowing jade necklace, have some sundried Aquaman, or pee on a Green Lantern (or used to happen before they changed that)?
    I wish the costume was more substanial - a pair of blue briefs, pirate boots, some weird bondage chest harness and a big blue opera cape - all of which clashes with his green skin.
    Pretty sure he got the harness from Hawkman's tailor.

    I don't disagree with anything you say about it, but I actually like his goofy costume for reasons I don't really get. I hated the new look they gave him recently with the full body suit and high collar cape.

    Don't get me wrong, I like Jon Jonzz, but my wife keeps thinking
    he's the Vision whenever we watch Justice League Unlimited.

    My son would also love a Superfriends line-up. He keeps asking for Grodd, Grundy, Bizarro and Brainiac "Megos". He wants to know when we can buy them and I have to tell him to just wait and see.

    I like the idea, but I also like the idea of non-Superfriends figures. To me it's just the more the merrier.

    Keep on truckin', Doc Mego & Mattel!

    To me,it's however Mattel wants to do it. They have the final say in the matter. I'll just buy them.

    There's always bound to be a couple of the Superfriends characters in the line, but since Two-Face is in wave 2 it's safe to say Superfriends isn't their guideline

    ^^^ Two Face is already going outside your wish list, so I'd say its out the window. Jonn could be paired up with Dr. Light, The Human Flame, a white Martian or some leftover Bat or Super villain.

    Went to Wiki...and they said there were 11 heroes and 13 villains:

    They were:

    * Superman
    * Batman
    * Robin
    * Wonder Woman
    * Aquaman
    * The Flash
    * Green Lantern
    * Hawkman
    * Black Vulcan
    * Apache Chief
    * Samurai

    Legion of Doom

    Thirteen villains comprised the Legion of Doom during the Challenge of the Super Friends season. They were:

    * Lex Luthor
    * Solomon Grundy
    * Sinestro
    * Black Manta
    * Cheetah
    * Giganta
    * The Scarecrow
    * Toyman
    * The Riddler
    * Bizarro
    * Brainiac
    * Captain Cold
    * Gorilla Grodd

    That's 26 characters...

    If waves of 4 that's 6 more waves lined up.

    But can Gorilla Grod - with his fur - really make a good action figure? I'm not sure. If they can pull it off, I'd love one. I guess if they can make Planet of the Apes they can make a Gorilla Grod.

    Does Apache Chief work as a figure?

    Guess it's more complicated when you look at it in black & white.

    I know Martian Manhunter is an important character to many folks...I just don't get the appeal. He doesn't seem to have a famous villain either so maybe he'll be a Matty exclusive.

    I don't think Super Friends ever used Captain Marvel/Shazam and I'd love to see him too.. And of course Batgirl which wasn't in the show but was done by Mego is a must...so I just contradicted myself.

    Having said that...the Mego line was a Seventies line and I like it when they reflect Seventies based characters.
