Don't turn this into a complaint thread

So after several trips to my local toysrus "100" miles round trip" and finding nothing. Last time i couldn't even find a spot where they were. So i ordered them online. Paid 95 bucks with shipping so not much more than if i bought them retail. I just really wanted to buy them off the shelf.
So i am so happy to see all the new 8 inch figures. And please i don't want this to be a complaint post but what the heck happened to the figures waist? How did this even get to production? I love my new superman but he either looks pregnant or like someone kicked in his stomach. I have seen a little but is this one of the corrections they are making. Honestly guys i don't know if i would buy another like this. I am already looking to put everything on a vintage body. Does anyone know what i have to do to transfer the head?
And again i love the fact that we are getting all this retro goodness so i don't want to come off as being ****y. Just they are 20 bucks a pop.

1ST of all ...., I dunno if you can start a Thread like this ..., then Complain, then expect others not to do so as well.

2nd of all ...., go read all the other Threads on the Subject ..., then I think most if not all of your questions will be answered.

What's funny to me is that I was comparing the new bodies to an old MOTU female body and they are really similar in the over all legs, nips and chest area. I made the joke before but just recently observed this in the flesh. I think it may just be a Mattel thing.

A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

I think "possibly" Mattel may have already fixed the issue. I have seven figures total, one each of the five characters plus the variants of Lex Luthor and Green Lantern, and they all stand up perfectly straight.

I just CAN'T be that lucky.

Mine are all over the place, and I have multiples of each. Some stand & pose, some don't. Discouraging, but they still look nice.

I have collector friends who aren't into Mego, and they each said when they saw retro-Mattel, "Cool, new Megos."

If Mattel will just do the tweaking they've promised, we should end up with some great stuff...

Otherwise, Doc & Castaway are gonna be cleaning up!

I just bought Lex Luthor (stitched, yay!) and Sinestro on Ebay from a single seller for $27.53 shipped. Both MOC. Just $13.77 each.

I believe you should say what's on your mind.

Mattel is aware of the issue with the bodies and will fix it.

Today i went to toysrus and had my wish fulfilled. There was 3 spots for them and 6 of each. I picked through them carefully as some had the bad waist and some just looked safe in the package. So i bought 4 more and bought them at retail. Sigh it was so cool when i saw them hanging. for a brief moment i was 9 again. that was why i didn't want to come off wrong. Your right it was what was on my mind. And thanks again.
