    New Megos From Mattel Info

Has anyone noticed how many of these figures can be found sitting on toys r us selves now? IO have been to 3 toys r us stores in New York city, one had an entire shelf filled with them, there must have been about 75 of them and they had all 4 figures, another one had them hanging there must have been about 50 or more of them and they also had them hanging in another part of the store. the 3rd toys r us store had about 25 hanging from hooks.
I went back to the first 2 stores about a week and a half later, and guess what? they are still there.
They do not seem to be moving as fast. A worker there told me the same thing.
Do ya all think, the people who wanted them have gotten them already? and if so, I hope this does not mean bad news for the series. I even heard one person saying oh nice figures, to costly, they have a lot of them, so I will wait till they lower the price on them, My cousin is saying the same thing.
I would like the line to continue, but to many issues with them seems to have disillussioned people. and as I said, I hope the people who wanted them already have them.

Interesting... The most I have ever seen at any given time in Louisville is maybe six or eight and they never last. Perhaps the 'need' is satisfied in that market? Hmmm. I smell mark downs coming in those areas.

The only place I've seen them in Atlantic Canada is at the comic shop, and they aren't moving very quick. I suspect most of their sales were from online shops like BBTS.

If they don't sell at a retail store, they could always continue the line on Matty Collector much like MOTU, with anew figure each month.

There may be a bigger question to this observation - How much of Wave two will these stores order if they have too much overstock remaining from Wave one? Some stores may be very limited in their orders if is occurs.

I'd like to have WalMart or Target pick 'em up too.

I have yet to see more than a single case at a TRU. They vanish pretty quickly, too.

it's possible that they were just placed on the shelves that morning. I would be curious to see what's there at the end of the week.

We've already gone through four cases at my local Toys R Us and they vanish a day or two after being put on the pegs. I've been lucky and happened upon two fresh stocks of them on two different Saturdays to complete my purchases. Even Sinestro is moving well in my neck of the woods.
