Starting to swap the heads of the new WGSH out...

Alright, I have the head off of the Green Lanter with no problem...and didn't even ruin the body. Now I basically want to figure out how to do the hands. Does the boil and pop work for just the hands...meaning if you boil and pop the hands off will it fit into an original Mego forearm. Any help on this is helpful. The pin hole on the Mattel forearm is too big for it to slip onto a original mego forearm without having to alter the pinhole somehow.

Yes, heat up the Mattel hands and they pop right out. They will pop into a Castaway arm just fine without heating. As for an original Mego or EMCE body, I am not sure, but I think they will fit fine.

Figured it out. The Mattel fist doesn't pop into a Mego forearm...but with a little finageling I managed to get the Mattel forearm onto the Mego arm and use the mego pin. It worked...but it's a royal pain in the arse. I actually like the "Moonboots" for GL when it's on the Mego Body....it works really well. Soon as I get a chance I'll try and take a pic. And I didn't even have to crack open the Mattel body...just cut that elastic that pulls together the top and bottom of the figure. Very pleased with the final results.

Looks really good. I like how his turtle neck actually wraps around his neck instead of resting on his shoulders. Did you have to alter it?
          Looking for:

No altering necessary. When I put the outfit on him and went to snap the snaps it just worked itself out.

When I bought my GL at Toys R' Us...they had two versions. The high Turtle Neck...and a low one. I bought the high one.
