I only had a CTVT body to experiment so I can't speak for the CAW body I will actually be using, but the connectors between the Mattel body and the CTVT body don't match too well for the elbow and the wrist. You can swap them, but their hold isn't strong. Are the CAW bodies a better match, parts wise?

Here's my solution (in my opinion) for the best possible combination to Make the Mattel heroes look "Awesome" and extremely poseable. It's a mixture of Mattel, Doc and Castawaytoys. Can you name the parts and their location?

Yesterday my daughter bought this Mattel Superman for my son (Only had one in local Toys R Us), I'm prepping the Body for "Action + Adventure". More pics of the other three,....Later today!

Looks like EMCE torso, pelvis and legs, CAW upper arms, and mattel forearms and hands.
Did you only buy the CAW arms? Why not use the CAW body as well? Just curious, not being critical.

First off, I luv both Emce and Castaway bodies. However, for this application i decided to go with this formula:
1) Emce Torso, pelvis and legs
2) Castaway swivel upper arm
3) Mattel head, Forearms and hands
My reason for the choice, Was mostly due to two factors....one is that because the costumes are skin tight, i've deduced that it looks better on the Emce body. And Two, The biggest 8" Action figures critiques i know....My kids, wholeheartedly agree with me that i hit a "GRANDSLAM" with these Mattel figures by using this combination. Consequently, in reference to Castawaybodies; they're my premiere body to go to for my Mego custom Westerns and Bruce Lee figures (see Below). Again, i'll reiterate for the record.........I Luv me both Castaway and Emce bodies for various applications in the 8" format.
