Wave One arrived at my house

The package arrived. I looked and each figure is perfect, no runs cracks etc.......

Now the bad news.

I cant have them till my Birthday in June.

I was allowed to look at them to see if they had any defects. Thats it. Of course with my bad memory i will have forgotten about them by the time my B'day rolls around.

Bad memory

That's what I rely on to get Christmas presents. I buy things on ebay
that I want, when the box arrives, I give it to my wife to give me for
Christmas. By the time the holiday arrives, I forgot all about the
packages.

The downside is when my wife's ailing memory makes her forget to
give the stuff at all. Then it's a "find" six months later.

I dunno if Waiting for stuff I bought today, to open and play with in 3 Months,.. is really worth the Trade off. I'd rather just not get something on my Birthday or Xmas ..., I guess I am used to not really getting anything that I don't pay for anyways ...
