I dipped the head in really hot water. that softened the vinyl enough for me to get it part of the way out. Then I took an exacto knife and cut the plastic post in the middle.
Frankly, if you don't care about the bodies the easiest way is to put the chest in a vice. It will crack the chest, split the seam along the shoulders and the head will pop right off.
Yank off the forearms, throw the body in the trash, done in 5 seconds.

True Dat, True dat. Quick solution to a Major overhaul,.....that at the end of the day looks so much presentable. Now all you need is the "Quick fix" solution for the flat head dilema.

Does anyone know if there's a quick fix to the shorts being too bland looking on Superman. Can i Dye it red for a better and more "Saturated" red look?
wow.
Very cool.
Mattel def dropped the ball on the bodies now that I have seen what you guys are doing.
*sigh*
I can forsee my MegoMeet days spent tearing up all my figs to mod them.
I hadn't planned on buying this figure, but that does look nice. However, I still don't like the head. Maybe I'll put the costume on an old Mego Sup and call it a day. Not sure that's worth $20 to me...
