It would be great if DST would repro the gamma for those who never had or want to have one again,..Its a great set! (plus a Cd with weird background sound)!

Look man, we all of us buy little dollies, I'm not about to throw stones from my glass house.

The gamma set IS a great one. My biggest regret is that my hand is too big for the alien 'monster' glove. I should commission one that actually fits me - but first I have to check if my big paws fit through that space at the base. I have a feeling they wouldn't.
Any kind of mass produced Trek playset would be great. If the Enterprise one weren't so plentiful and cheap, I'd be all over the repro one. I haven't bought any Dida ones yet because of the price point - I'd have to buy nothing else for awhile to save up and haven't taken the time to yet.
Playsets increase the play value of the pertaining action figures,...for example...My kids are playing with their Star Trek figures more frequently due to the fact that i build them this Shuttlecraft (Galileo 7).
Great shuttle!!!!
What you said is very true. It was seeing the awesome DIDA Enterprise bridge that finally made me break down and start buying the Mego Trek repros. It tipped the scale for me! (now to save up and get one of those Dida bridges!)
Again, you are one great dad. Good to see a father like you among us dads. Keeps us in a positive light!

Why did they make the plastic pieces grey? or not make the viewscreens double sided?
Thanks!

Steve,
That isn't what I said - we did have input on the bridge playset - I
even hauled Dida's "theatre in the round" custom job with me to
Baltimore to show to DST.
Upper management insisted the bridge be reproduced EXACTLY as
the original, so the only question left was which factory would make
it. Their factory was the better price - although they found out that
actually reproducing it was much harder than anticipated.
