He used Amazon.com but paid Game City.
Wonder why the heck game city is having me wait? That doesn't add up in my book and I won't be a repeat customer. "In Stock" means, "In Stock" and I'd expect items paid for to be shipped within three business days if not same day. Business is business.
Also, I have to drive 55 miles one-way to get to a Toys R Us since they closed the one in my town.
For nostaglia sake, I'd like to walk into a K-Mart (yea, we still have one) and see these figs.Leave a comment:

The beauty of waiting and buying them at Toys R' Us is...you get to check them over for defects before you buy(runs in the Costume, half painted Mustache, etc...) That's why I won't buy them online.

Ordered from AMAZON and sold by AMAZON?
Or, ordered from AMAZON though sold by Game City?
If your order is sold/handled by AMAZON then there is no "runaround" as they have never been in stock by AMAZON, and wont' be until next week, or the week after.
If your order is sold/handled by Game City (thru AMAZON) then it seems you're getting the runaround. Game City is the only company that had these ready for delivery (they paid FOB to get a speedy shipment from China) so they should have shipped them to you by now.. if they are who you pre-paid to.
* BY the way, everyone who is going crazy looking for these at TRU needs to relax a bit, these are NOT showing up there any time soon (this week or next). Unless TRU paid FOB for shipping too (from China), then these toys are all on a slow boat from China and will arrive in the port and then be shipped at the same time to Diamond, AMAZON and TRU. None of these retailers/distributers are showing them as "in stock" currently. Typically.. after superherotoys.com/game city gets early shipments of Mattel product it's 3 weeks later that other places get their orders in. So I would say that at least another week, to two, are still ahead of us before these show up at retail or on shipping list. Also, keep in mind these have to go to TRU/Diamond distribution centers, then shipped to individual stores, then worked out on to the floor. It could be up 3 to 4 weeks in some instances before these are hanging in some TRUs (or shipped to comic stores). And there will probably be only two pegs for these at TRU.. so don't expect some grand end-cap display of these figures with a glowing rainbow appearing over them. They will probably sell thru pretty quickly and then another waiting period will begin (at TRUs specifically).

Wave 1 Availability? Where to buy?? Shipping time?
well, this is probably a lessoned learned; but dang....
I missed Green Arrow on Matty.com ( fellow member here is hooking me up).
But, we're talking a triple Jefferson set and shipping.
Didn't know exactly where to get Wave 1, really only wanted Green Lantern and Sinestro for now anyways....went to Amazon.com
Amazon's price was 19.99 ea, did not see shipping $$ info, and it would take like 4 weeks.
Amazon had a "In Stock" link to Game_City out of California. However, now we're talking $23.99ea plus $5 shipping.
So, it kinda felt like an auction, coming down to the wire, bid it up, bid it up...go for it...and before I knew it (said "in stock" btw), I jumped.
Total bill for two figs was just over $56. Ummm. a little ouch imo.
So, I chalk it up, say oh well...the Doc has done MORE than his fair share getting these made, so I support him
So yea...this "In Stock" was on Feb 9th. Yesterday, the fella I asked to use his Amazon account gets an email. Says estimated delivery is estimated between Feb 22nd and Mar 9th.
WTH? They got paid. They said 'In Stock". What's up with freaking 3-4 week delivery?
If this stuff is gonna be hard to get...it's gonna force out tight-butts (in this economy) like me
I'll just bring a handfull of cash to mego meet and buy off General Zod in person if that's the case.
Is there a sure-fire place to just place order and bypass the headache?Tags: None
