    Whats the word Doc?

Hey Paul, I know you have been kinda sittin back and listening to everyones comments, and seeing the excitement flow. When can you tell us about the lines? A picture is worth a thousand words, but I would like to hear from you.

When should we be looking for Mattels wave three?
Will there be any more surprises?
How were all the figures received at the show?
When can we see some pics of the new Trek?

These are just a few of the questions that come to mind.

Also I wanted to congratulate you on your efforts, I know its not just you, everyone involved deserve KUDOS!!! Its a Dream come true. I really appreciate your open mindedness about people talking about your baby. There is extremes on both sides of the spectrum. Not too many people would let others bash their dream, without lashing out. This shows you are a class act, and foreward thinking. Give us the word when you are able, and keep kicking ***!!!!

      Ditto.

Doc is a great guy, and is always willing to listen to opinions/suggestions/diatribes about his stuff.

I figure that since I have waited this long, I can wait a little longer.

Nobody is bashing the Doc, his efforts, or his dream. It is Mattel people have issues with, and I hope the Doc realizes this.

If you notice, the EMCE/Diamond and BBP stuff has been extremely well received so far. Why? Because EMCE know how to do it right, and don't have the other companies making extreme changes to the Mego style. Of course final product will be the real test, but I betcha they go without nearly as many complaints as the Retro-Action figures.

The irony here is that Mattel's line is supposed to be the most like the original Megos, yet they seem to have strayed furthest from those original figures.

All of BBP!'s work feature realistic head sculpts and seem much more updated, yet they will apparently feature the original Mego buck. I'd love to see an updated body (with at least shoulder swivels), but if we are going to have as much trouble as Mattel, I'm fine with keeping the bodies as is.

We are halfway through Toy Fair and I am beat from standing all day talking
to people about the new figures. Two more days of it, then I can take a day
            off.

Thanks for the encouragement - I do appreciate it.

I completely agree. Gratitude for the project goes completely to Paul. But my measure of quality and expectation goes to Mattel. Two entirely different worlds. My hat is always off to Paul. No one busts their b*tt more for our dreams and I hope he knows these criticisms are never weighed on him. His best intentions are completely understood.

Seriously, Paul is an awesome guy, I went into a local store to get some of his stuff, and had a discussion about how cool this stuff was, when he revealed HE was Doc Mego. He showed me some stuff he was working on, and even back then he had plans to get megos back on the shelves of toy stores. Bravo Paul You did it!

Doc's on the front lines...he's hearing every opinion in the world, good and bad..seeing how EMCE products are being well received it gives him the position of being able to have Mattel listen to the public complaints he conveys to them...whether they act on them is out of his control but they probable take him seriously....so bottom line Paul deserves every ones praise

Paul's been nothing but a class act from Day One. I've dealt with him for years, and is ALWAYS an A+ stand up guy whose love of Megos (and similar styled figures) has helped brighten a lot of lives!
