I am legitimately surprised that these figures use rubber bands. I thought Mattel would make their own body that looked like a Mego but had normal joints. Maybe they will have to make that switch.

It was sewn too close to the edge of the elastic and didn't hold. The costume was the only thing holding it together. It shredded the end of the elastic. I say it was probably a shorter than the rest of the pieces of elastic used. This body was strung different from the Green Arrow figure. Not that it helped much...

They really should. The only thing I like so far are the new arms. If the waist and legs were made the same it would be like a giant mego action figure...which just might work....the stringing makes them floppy...plus the chest does not sit into the pelvis well.....they need to release info about how they are going to fix this mess before I would be excited for Wave 2.

Put the head and suit on a regular Mego body.

It would probably look 100% better anyway.

Those new bodies just plain look strange ...

I think the forearm is a little long, and the wrist a little slim. The elbow is a little slim also.

So the only thing strung is the waist joint. They should just redo that with a ball joint and get rid of the elastic.

I think you are right. I'm just not sure then why the leg has such poor range of motion.
