I think we have see the good guys so often commercially produced that it's a treat to see Superfriends style bad guys. You can never have too many bad guys.( Hey Doc whats your first Mattel army builder going to be? $$$$)
When the dust settles I'll go look for a Luthor and MAYBE a Sinestro to go with my EMCE Star Trek and Apes.
Thats me personally but I am happy to see many little boys ( and girls) will have a chance to have a brand new Mego Superman in 2010 !
( Maybe I'll buy a case to donate somewhere, sure wish I could.I'm going to think about that. Imagine a whole room full of needy kids each with a brand new Mego Superman in hand!

Interesting that the number of snaps have gone up. Green Arrow has 1, Green Lantern as 2, and the rest have 3! Seems a little bit overkill and bunches up the costume in the back.
Without the third snap, the belts couldn't clear the thighs when removing the costume.Comment

thanks for the pics!
It is so cool these figures are being built.
I think Sinestro is my favorite. Everything just works for him. Color. Sculpt. Body. Green Arrow is 2nd place for me. He's simple, he's classic Mego-style.
Lex is hmmmm okaaaay for me...never a big Lex fan, but Supes needed a villian.
Supes is just awkward for me. His head, a good sculpt it is, seems too big. The jumpsuit seems odd, or maybe it's just the thighs. I dunno, maybe he'll grow on me once I see it in person. I like the addition of the Yellow "S" on the cape.
Ordered my Sinestro and Green Arrow off Amazon tonite after seeing these pics.Comment

If so, just pull out the wrist pins and swap ...
Or, swap out the elbow pins and swap from the elbow down.Comment

Should I warm up the arms and hands before I do? And I guess I just get a tool and push it through?
I'm asking ahead of time because I have a sad headlessEMCE gorilla from a recent mistake.
I suspect Doc might be getting a lot of orders at the Repro shop for bodies dyed this color.Comment

Just push out the pin with the head of a nail...
Change the arms and put the pin back in --- if the pin is a little tight use a pair of plyers to push it back in.
No warming necessary.
The whole project should take less than a minute
You can also do this for wrist pins and feet pins.Last edited by Mikey; Feb 10, '10, 11:36 PM.Comment
