If you want the Buster Crabbe version of Flash Gordon, GoHero is making a 12 inch
version, so I guess they have the rights to that version.
My biggest compliant about licensing these days is how the licensors are slicing
up the same character into different formats. It all goes to the same fan base
that can't buy everything anymore.Comment

I was hoping more Al Williamson than Crabbe, but we do still have the original Mego that went in that direction.
But ain't their Classic Buck Rogers fantastic!!!
I would love to have this one in 8" format. I think that is why the Re-Mego's are ideal for collector's as the kind of midway between sculpted plastic figures at the mass market Walmart level, and those that can't justify paying three figures for a Toy at the high end 1/6th level.Last edited by samurainoir; Feb 4, '10, 10:54 AM.Comment

I agree. Those figures are beautiful, but just too danged expensive for those of us with less than deep pockets.
I'm hoping for a movie version of Flash, Ming, Dale, and Dr. Zarkov. If we can get Prince Barin, Vultan and that guy in the mask (can't remember his name), I'll be happy.JediJaidaComment

Did the prototype Flash Gordon that was on the BBP website have a head too big for the body? It might have just been the picture.
I thought for sure EMCE obtained the Star Wars liscence this year. My fingers and toes are crossed that they are waiting to announce it.If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.Comment
