How do you want to see the Re-Mego Shazam portrayed?

The body, head, suit and boots came from Doc Mego. The emblem, belt, wrist design, and cape were hand made. It was a struggle trying to get the eyes to have that right that "squint" look, with the right shape to the eyebrows. The head came flesh colored and didn't look right when i tried to paint it, so I left it that way.

Captain Marvel was always one of my favorite megos because I grew up watching the show on Saturday mornings and reading the comics. I really hope a Retro Action figure comes out along with a Black Adam.

Here is the custom I did to try to capture a look more close to the original. What do you guys think? I'm thinking of ordering the "small pirate boots" from Doc Mego to replace the ones pictured here.

I think that head was done by Troy Younger - he always favors a very
cartoony style.

I love that head. Where'd you get it? That is perfect for Shazam. I really need to ditch my modified Fonzie I am using. It don't look bad but that head is perfect.

It must be really cold in your toy room Chuck - either that or the turkey is done.

I used to sand those torso's down before using them on a custom body but just couldn't be bothered. The crotch tends to get a bit of camel toe as well. It's really more like camel foot to be truthful.

Shazam

I'd go very different from the original: half-tie over the shoulder look; white with yellow trim and "flowers"/tassles; button-up top; "Gold" accessories and lightning bolt symbol. I'm just thinking that the original Shazam is still pretty common, so I'd make this a whole different figure.
