    I agree.

This line needed to hit the ground running. It couldn't afford to build up slowly.

This is a case of hindsight 20/20 but if you acquired the license for Beneath POTA you would have all of the main characters and Ursus. The second thing would be to make screen accurate figures.

With the new movie "possibly" in the works this could be a potential goldmine but all of the stars need to fall in line.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I really hope they keep it far far away from Tim Burton. His ape movie was horrible!

Anybody heard any more on the new film?
Last I heard it was called "Caesar" and was pretty much rehashing the old movie series, except in chronological order this time. I like that approach, but I'm afraid it will be turned into something awful. Apparently nobody wants to direct it, which isnt a good sign.

I was very saddened when the good Doc said the Emce Apes were history. I would have bought all the figures made and did buy multiple gorillas for a platoon, maybe someday fate will smile on and they will return.

We all seem to be thinking the same thing. I wouldn't have minded Burton's flick if they named it something else. I think the shooting title was: The Visitor. Like you guys I'd rather see a new story that works w/the original series.

Do you think the Emce license expired?
