It seems so far (re: Green Arrow & Superman) that Mattel is tweaking existing Mego sculpts.
So maybe a MegoBats with longer ears & less of a smile, more defined chin? I'm thinking it could work...
Of course, I love Aparo...WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

He wasnt modern after you take him out of the package! Other than Nicolson and Ledger the Joker has pretty much kept the same look through the years.
( I heard originally they were going to make Nicolsons costume more traditional with stripes but Jack requested checkered pants.)Comment

I would imagine there is a great deal of precedence for this to be true!
I'd even want the ridiculous looking fur hat Soviet Batman if they made it into a Mego! What? It doesn't get cold swinging around Siberia fighting Russian Superman?
Why have they never made a Cowboy Batman?
(other than Tex Willer)

how about this style belt with tubes and pouches? With mid sized ears. Blue and gray. And no Adam West in my head when I "hear" him talk.Last edited by LonnieFisher; Jan 29, '10, 10:01 PM.Comment

All the talk of "several different Batman" figures is starting to scare me. If one sells well, they will make more. After they flood the market with six waves of different Batman figures they stop selling and the line dies off. Toybiz did it with the Famous Covers line. It turned into almost strictly X-Men figures, and then faded away... If we get more than one Batman figure, it should be a Mattycollector.com exclusive. Not a mass market item. Which I have no problem with...Comment
