I think it's a safe bet that Batman will be based on the Jose Luis Garcia Lopez style-guide art, and his Batman is heavily influenced by Neal Adams, so we should be good.

After all, it's a JLGL headshot on the Green Arrow package.

If you want a year one Batman...contact Troy Younger. He has a great Head Sculpt...and it's an easy Custom to make.

God no Frank Miller Batman please. I want blue/grey Batman from the 70's with capsule belt and mid-long ears and black shading on his mask.

I like it but not for a figure. Paint a Mego Bats black and you've basically got this.

That was me and I agree 100%. Garica Lopez's style guide images would be perfect. Lopez's style is close enough to Neal Adams (where Batman is concerned) and his renditions of the other characters have the perfect classic/iconic look all around.

This is what see in my minds eye when I imagine new Megos.

LOVE David Mazzucchelli...but I don't think Mattel will stray from the 70's style.

If you read this post...and the one I made before it...it's pretty clear Neil Adams is the #1 Fan Choice for Batman. Can you hear us Mattel?

Batman has been done in so many different styles it's almost impossible to stick to one. It'd make perfect sense to make more than just one version (with different sculpts BTW, not just a new outfit).

And no, no more matty exclusives, no more exclusives period. What's wrong with a different version being a mass market item. Screw exclusives

I agree with you 100%!! Any "alternate version" characters should be a Matty Exclusive. But no Show Exclusives!! I hate those.
