YAY! Classic BSG fans! I vote a resounding: YES!!!

I'd love to see how they'd pull off Count Iblis, who was one of the better bad guys in the series.

Baltar was a good villain, but he became more of a comedy relief in later episodes. Count Iblis was just plain EVIL!!!!

But let's not put too much pressure on ZICA. He has to succeed with BR first. THEN, he can move onto another franchise.

I think this thread might be in the wrong section if we want ZICA to pick up the franchise.

I honestly don't know if Doc would want to do it, seeing as he has a lot on his hands lately.

Is there any way to move this thread to the proper section without totally deleting it?

I'd buy the Galactica figures, but I'd also LOVE Logan's Run some day.

Even though i'm not a fan of Battlestar Galactica, I do agree it would make an excellent line.

I'd line up for 8" Galactica Classic Megos in a heartbeat. But:

I know they're not retro at all, but 8" scale poseable 70's-style cylons can be had right now on ebay or at Toy R Us for under $20 with the current Galactica Figure line. Granted, these are modeled after their CG appearances on the new Battlestar, but for me, the most important part is that great 70s head design; the 'man in suit' part, I can live without.

But don't take my word for it, judge for yourself:

(ignore the fugly unjointed humans pictured above, picture just used for the cylon)

I like the "man in a suit" look better. The CGI versions remind me of Terminator. I know the suit was all they could do at the time (1978), but to me it would make more sense to do that, than to leave gears and wires exposed.
                      It's all good!

                        Very true.
That gold one above almost looks like current experimental robots coming out of Japan today.

Never try and update a look if there's nothing wrong with the original.
