Why does the new GA look exactly the same height as a mego in everyones pictures, except for mine, which looks almost half a head taller? Maybe my mego GA is shrinking in his old age lol.

^ Your feet probably aren't pushed all the way down in his boots....Mine had a left foot that was turned backwards in the boot 'til I fixed it.

I like the front of the card. the GA logo is cool. The back is off-balance.

              Looks nice!

I like the card art, great job. I agree this is how it should have looked from Mattel.

The one in the middle looks perfect. Something about the Mattel one looks off in that lineup.

[QUOTE=The Toyroom;445818]Mine finally arrived. All in all, not a bad little figure...I don't appear to be having the standing problems some others folks are. I bought a few and some are very bow-legged but the one I opened actually stands pretty good. Arms seem to move ok too, but swivel arms ala Castaway would have been a major improvement.

It looks like the material for the leggings may have a tendency to snag....
I LOVE that his hat stays on! And the equipment looks like an all-around upgrade of better, more malleable plastic.

The packaging.....Ugggh. I KNEW I probably wasn't going to display mine sealed, but the warped card definitely "un-sealed" the deal.... I think the warping comes from them cramming it into a snug outter Matty box moreso than actual design. Of course if was a traditional WGSH size card, this wouldn't have been an issue.

And yes, the card CAN be WGSH size/Castaway clamshell size AND keep all of the modern copyright/safety verbage as well....

I also boxed him, but I think I prefer the card this time around....

                    >>> Well done Mr! Now if you make me open my carded Mattel Green Arrow to re-card on this beauty, you'd better have plans to make improved versions of the other upcoming Mattel Megos cards as well, so that they look like a same line... <<<

I really don't like the package Mattel put out. Why would they put the hanger on the back and sell it online? Pretty stupid. My card is warped because of the heat sealed hanging crap. I really like this "alternate style" card!

That is interesting...hadn't thought of that....Maybe it's just standard proceedure, regardless of where it's sold?

Great to see the new GA. Really good job with this all around. If I had to pick nits, I'd say his hair is too orange and the beard not curly enough. Looks more like comic book GA than Alex Toth GA (which is of course what the original was based on).

Or could it be to give the retro feel of if GA was sold on the pegs in toy shops?

Great looking card art Toyroom,i would gladly rip mine open to have 1 of your cards anyday.
