Same here. That's why I don't care as much for UPS. They spend too much time throwing packages into storage cages and that's where things get lost and damaged. USPS just delivers the d*mn thing. No messing around with putting things to the side. When the package goes out the door, it moves forward every day until it hits your door. USPS is far more affordbale too. The "ships if it fits" rate works and I've never sent or received anything damaged yet.

For three days UPS has had my Green Arrow setting in a warehouse just 2 miles from my door. I am in the same boat, nothing until Jan 4th. It took them two days to ship the package from California to Ohio, but nearly 5 days for the remaining two miles. The worst part is they will drop it on my porch and run sometime late in the evening after dark.
Make mine USPS.

Good to know I'm not the only one in this boat: my three figures (along with a DCUC Wave 11 set) shipped 12/24/09, arrived at the UPS depot about 10 miles from me at 7:15am on 12/31/09, but won't be delivered until 1/4/10. I called UPS on the morning of 12/31 hoping I could pick them up at the depot, but was told no ground packages would be delivered that day or the next, and also could not be picked up.

I don't begrudge anyone a holiday off, but why the hell did UPS Ground take off both New Years Eve *AND* New Year's Day? Isn't January 1 the actual holiday? Why were they closed both days, especially when it ran into their normal no-delivery days of Saturday and Sunday, meaning 4 straight non-delivery days ? I realize I'm annoyed mostly from a personal standpoint (I want my toys, darn it!), but that seems a rather poor way to conduct a business.

Supposedly, my figures have crossed the border into the warm, caring, hands of Canadian customs(sic). I have a package from Nayrbgo that shipped around the same time...it will be interesting to see which arrives first. My money is on Larry!

Same for me guys but ups went out of there way to make sure i would not get it till the forth. My stuff shipped dec 23rd and arrived in greensboro nc at 1am dec 30. This is 4 hours from me. Everytime i order from matty my package arrives like this but then makes it to my local hub and onto a truck that same day. But this time for some reason it stays there for a full 24 hours and arrives 5 minutes from me at 1am dec 31st. So my darn figures have been sitting 5 minutes from my house since Thursday morning. To make it worse, i am usually at the end of the route ups must do for my house. I always get my stuff between 4-5pm. UPS GIVE ME MY TOYS

Exactly the same for me, too. Except mine made it to my local UPS hub at noon on the 30th. I thought for sure I would get it yesterday, but nope, nothin'. My wife has promised not to taunt me and open the package if it arrives before I get home from work on Monday

I misunderstood "Ontario, California" for "Ontario, Canada" and I was like," What the hell is it doing in Canada?"

Then I figured out that Ontario was the starting place and I was like "Why the hell hasn't it left California."

I can't be pleased anywhichway.
