    fathers and sons

We got our Green Arrow in yesterday and opened him up.
So now my 3 yo son has green arrow, quiver, and boxing glove in his vocabulary.

Within the first 10 minutes of playtime,I watched him strip down GA to examine how all the bits fit together and how the body is made. I had no input and gave no suggestions, he just had that 'how does it go together' thing going on and it is only natural to apply it to these Megoish figures.

After a few moments of examination, he asked for some help getting the belt back together and GA was off to fly around with Hulk and Spidey. awesome! And a great feeling to see him giving the figure the same scrutinizing once over that all us big kids are giving it.

Me too. Tracking says it arrived at the UPS near where we live yesterday, but still shows "in transit" for the 4th. Grrrr. My son and daughter will get to share one. I'll see how that turns out.
        It's all good!

My son got the GA, my daughter got a Storm. They both pretty much share what is in toyland and don't have too many issues. There are a few items that don't cross camps, but even the wubbies get swapped here and there.

          good luck with it.

          edit: and update:

Do we need to get some Mattel repro parts going? Sounds like we're going to need them. That's what you get for letting a child play with a toy!

For me this was always the beauty of these figures. As a kid and now. The ability to not only play with them, but change and mess with them. It adds so much to the playability, beyond a well painted on suit, like other figures.
