Things I want to say Thank You for to EMCE

Thank you for making The Enterprise. And so affordable. I couldn't believe it. How in the world did you pull that one off? Its a BIG box . I thought no comic shop has the room for this.

Thank you for doing the Gorn Just right. I love the gorn. I did a latex hand puppet of him for school. I intended to do an animatronic one as Wah Chang designed a great alien they just didn't have the knowledge back then .

Thank you for replacing my two soilder apes. I had the metal cuts into the shoulder problem.

EMCE delivers quality at affordable prices, they know what they're doing.By far the best Megolike figures ever

I dunno about that...I'm pretty damn pleased with Castaway's stuff too.

I meant bodywise, it's the same design, no enhancements and no issues like the CTVT bodies

          Great thread TrueDave!

I would like to thank the wonderful Doc for giving me the opportinity of laying my hands on EMCE Star Trek figures. I would have never afforded prices from secondary (collectors) market...

Same with the EMCE Planet of the Apes line... I still believe that EMCE ows us a General Ursus/Urko (ape with helmet) and the other Ursus/Urko.

All these figures in my collection... Mint in Mint packages... Thanks to the Doc.

Last but not least, it will be disrespectful if I don't hereby thank Dr. Mego for bringing back the World's Greatest DC Superheroes!

Now if somebody out there could take the relaunch of Captain Action figures seriously I'll be already in heaven... Come on Cast-A-Way folks! I know you can do it!

I STILL get a thrill when I walk in a store and see Emce on the shelves... it's the closest thing to going back in time. And the bodies are so quality... and the price so affordable... it's almost too good to be true; lucky for us, it is.

I want to pre-thank them for the Mattel Luthor and any other non-dupe characters that make their way out.

I will second the huge thank you for making the EMCE Star Trek line. I would never have my Romulan without these excellent reproductions. Not only do I get my coveted Romulan, but Sulu and Checkov as well as a new Gorn!!! Christmas came early this year

Thank you also for the relaunch of the DC Heroes. Here's to hoping Marvel figures find their way into this awesome revival of Mego-like figures.

Even if they reissue " Albino Unicorn Sunlamp Barefoot Disco Space Monkey"?

Doc, my most heartfelt and profound thanks for all you've done over the past couple of years. Parts for customizing. T2 repro bodies (male and female) better than the originals. You partnered with Mr. Abrams - we get EMCE Toys. You give us Star Trek figures, you gave us Khan. You gave us repro Planet of the Apes figures. Night of the Living Dead? Sure, you got that.

Then you blindside all of us, and become instrumental in bringing back the World's Greatest Superheroes. Well, at least the DC characters, and NEW ones at that. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if and when you ever do get around to doing the Marvel Superheroes as well.

But do you stop there? Pfah, not you! You're already hinting at the goodness to come in 2010!

Sincerely, Doc, if any of us holds the Mego banner highest, it's you. Much thanks, much appreciation, and much blessings to you and yours from all of us on the boards.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."
