You put into words what I have been thinking about the figure. It is the "Mego Charm" factor.

I want to see those goofy oven mitt gloves. I want the Batman face that has that peaceful, dumb expression. The costume errors and fragile sticker emblems, and totally inappropriately pink colored cards and boxes--These are the things that I remember from childhood, and again, it's just a pure nostalgia fix having these toys again as an adult (or in my case, for the first time since I never had very many of them as a kid), brand new and yet almost exactly the same as they were originally produced. I just think if they are going to bring back WGSH, it should be the real deal, without all these 'fixes'. Anyway, just one opinion. I'll be picking up this first wave, regardless. A little disappointed, but all in all still very cool to see.

The legs are rolling forward in the plevis area and, and this is most important, the knee joint is angled incorrectly. This MUST be corrected if you don't want bowlegged bowmen.

The gloves were never black, the were dark green. It was all we could find in a thin pleather that would work for the gloves. As was stated when they were first revealed, final PMS color matching would be done at the factory for all figures. The figures you have been seeing are prototypes. Hand sewn, sculpted, cast and painted resin heads, many on Doc Mego bodies.

Removable head or not, mine will get a doc mego or castaway body transplant, immediately.

Yes, there's not a doubt in my mind that we'll all figure out a way to customize these

Doc's Pikesman suit is quite nice, but the details of the Mattel suit are a bit different; we can have multible versions....

I'm wondering if the legs can be switched out on a Mattel fig for Emce legs. Regardless, I'm excited about the line!
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.
