Green Arrow's bow

the lord of the rings figures toybiz made had loose arrows and could be launched by the bow the character came with. did safety laws change that quickly?

I don't have any problem with the bow and attached arrow. I think it captures the retro look and it's not like we are actually going to open these and play with them are we???

As I understood it, the arrow wasn't the "DANGER", it was the slight chance a child could use the bow to somehow launch a projectile. "You'll put yer eye out"
I like the new bow and am just waiting for the day I can put one of these guys on my shelf. next mego meet as long as Paul is there I'll get a repro old school bow to keep along side so I can pose him either way.

At first I disliked the Boxing glove arrow, but as I've watched Batman, the Brave and the Bold, I realized how Green Arrow does use the trick arrows. So now I'm looking fowd to getting one, and hoping I can get 2 so my daughter can get one.

Actually, as the arrow is part of the bow, it doesn't matter what kind of tip it has on.

And come to think of it: the FC Hawkeye has several loose arrows and a functioning bow.

In my opionion, I really believe, that the idea of that boxing glove arrow looks very stupid. I stil say it should have been made with using a clip on removable arrow. i know dr mego said it has something to do with it being used as a projecile weapon, however, I do not see how that can be , they could have kept the bow as is all plastice and made the arroe tip removable and give us 2 other types of arroe heads. does that not make sense. Feed BAck Guys what ya think??

The boxing glove arrow looks cool to me, that's a part of this I actually don't have a problem with.
But removable arrow heads? Are you kidding me? No, that doesn't make sense at all.

I think trick arrows, and I think of the boxing glove. You want a regular one, there's plenty of repro's to be had (heck, they are almost vintage now anyways).

I like the boxing glove arrow. Green Arrow was so identified with his trick arrows back in the 70's I can see what they were after with it. Yes, I wish it was more centered, but I do like the idea.

Regardless of weather we like it or not what's done is done. It's Mattels decision. Bring on Wave 1.

I agree. If Mattel could not do the arrow because of safety reasons, they should have just left the arrow/boxing glove off like with the classic MEGO Green Arrow. It does not have to be on there!
