I didn't even notice the error on the bow at first, but what the heck? The arrow on the bottom rather than the top of the handle. Terrible mistake. I didn't like how the arrow was permanently attached in the first place, but now this? Looks like a classic repro bow will be in order.

The more I look at the boots, the less I like them. He has some slight Famous Covers syndrome going on. The thing I disliked the most about Famous Covers were their giant boots, gloves and accessories. Hopefully they will look better in person, otherwise, I may have to put some classic repro boots on him as well, but not sure how well they would match up with the rest of the coloring, will have to see.

I really hate to rag on this figure at all, because I fully support them. I just feel like I should be honest about what I like and what I don't.

Head, costume, hat, quiver - amazing
Body (waist down), bow, boots, gauntlets - not amazing
    Still 50/50 on the card

Opinions may change once I have the Emerald Archer in my grasp.

Otherwise...I'll be customizing ALL of my new Megos.
I agree with you 100% my friend. The figure ROCKS!!! However, it really screams "Doc Mego legs needed here".

I'm really digging this all the way around. The card does look better with all the words and stuff on it. Like the gauntlets too. Being a bit bow-legged doesn't bother me. Beside remember how bad the legs spread apart on a T1?

Yes, I think they could have done the name on the package a little better but overall I think it looks great. It doesn't look that worn at all. I also think green arrow is fantastic. These are going to be a whole lot better than earlier tries at 8 inch DC Superheroes. Finally new megos. Hopefully a great start for our children's childhood of getting these as was ours. Thank You Doc, Thank you Mattel and Thank You Everyone Else that was involved.

Holy bowed legs Batman! That is just wrong.
I HATE the arm bands! The bow is all wrong. The arrow should be up higher and the flights are somehow behind the bowstring. The card blows.

    Everything else is awesome.

Won't stop me form getting one but to say I'm 100% happy would be a lie. The spirit of Mego is there but I'm a bit disappointed.

Excited but disappointed. Curious to see the rest!

Not necessarily....even though a WGSH is taller than a Trek card, a Trek card is wider than a WGSH, enough so that I think a Trek card ends up being slightly bigger than a WGSH card overall. But maybe they needed that extra room for all of that informational stuff on the back even though it was at the expense of the character's logo. That'd be my guess anyway.....

But hey, new Megos, that's all that matters, right?

The back of the card looks better with all the added info, but I still don't like the generic font for GA's name. But at least now I know why they did it. Because there's no room to do anything else, the card looks like it will be a lot shorter than a Mego card.
The legs don't bother me all that much. Sure, it looks a bit weird, but I'm glad we're getting more muscular, mor hero like, arms and legs

    Finally!

We've got a pic of the final product, and it's sweet.

The legs can be fixed by reducing the size of the upper thighs. By using a more type2 leg, it would fix the slight imperfection. Otherwise, this is simply outstanding. I like the packaging too. THe card art made little sense without the figure inside. THe whole package is impressive.
