Megoman! I want that animated Batman icon, where did you get it?
      Hey,

I do not remember where. I think that I have a Superman as well.

        Give that one to Hector

Glad to see that GA is back. $20 is a great price considering a lot of the other toys out on the market these days.
        It's all good!

I thought the last time GA was listed on their site in the coming soon area it was at $25? Hmm.

              I love a story too.

But I'm lost. I'm not on enough. Do you mean the story of how Mattel got into the Mego business?

Or how Green Lantern got to come out first?

Or how his date or price changed?

Just curious. If you can't comment, don't. I'll get the info later. Is MegoMeet always in the summer?

I'm sure Dr. M means the story behind why Green "ARROW" ("Lantern" is due later) listing info, price, etc., was pulled from the site.. then put back on. Mattel is infamous for generating snafus on exclusive items.

Dumb question... I haven't ordered from mattycollector.com in a long time. What's the typical turnaround time between when I order and when I receive the item?

If I order something on the 15th, will it get to me by Christmas?

There is no distinct pattern for general shipping. Could arrive by xmas, or not. However, they do offer levels of shipping. You can pay for faster delivery I believe (than normal general delivery), which "should" get it to you before xmas.

This was posted on another site that was sent by Mattel:

"And speaking of Dec 15th, we’ll also have the first ever Retro Action 8″ Vintage Figure: Green Arrow! This is a preview figure for an all new line coming to Toys R Us and select online retailers in the Spring. Each figure is painstakingly created with the look and feel of the toys you knew as a kid. Who say’s they don’t make toys like they used to?

Now we did hit one snag, we won’t have our full order on Dec 15th. So much like Mer-Man, Green Arrow may sell out quick, but we’ll have a few more in within a week or so. But if you want this guy for the holidays, be there on MattyCollector.com on Dec 15th at 12:00 noon eastern time!"

Sounds like they are expecting a quick sell out of GA. So be ready guys.

It's hardly the first ever retro action 8" vintage figure.

Hey that is a sweet Green Lantern animated gif.

I liked the Batman one I commented on earlier but I may have to go look for these now.

Do you know where you got it?

I like GL but don't know as much about him etc as The Bat. Hal Jordan came back though I heard. After some trip to the Dark Side...
