EMCE Captain Kirk error/variant?

My sealed EMCE Kirk came wearing a blue tricorder...I thought only Spock and McCoy came with those.

Is this rare? It is DEFINITELY sealed, and has never been opened.

There was talk about wave 2 kirks having this extra item,can you post us a picture,no one else has came across this that i know of.

In the re-order (December 2008 - January 2009), 50-60 percent of Kirk have a tricorder. This is often called an error, but in reality, the very large number of this variant is that it is no longer an error.
