So I wanted to buy the new He Man toy of the month. Teela I think the girl character.

Anyhow, Checkout wanted to automatically charge me an additional 20.00 for Membership. Plus a high shipping rate over there and the bill was almost 50.00!

I am going to say this early nobody is going to be happy with MattyCollectors way of making folks that want the toy scramble about. Especially for the all exclusive Green Arrow.

So yknow as someone that loves megos, and everything dr. mego has done, I think it's safe to say that we should be entitled to not being abused over there at MattyCollectoor. I for one am disappointed I cannot order TEELA without paying a gouching additional 20.00. If you think we are not going to have issues then think again.

I wouldn't do it. Taking part in that only encourages them to screw you more later. I'll tell you something else - If they make it too hard to pick up this Green Arrow with "limited supplies" and bogus charges for the 'priviledge', I won't waste my time. I have the original complete. Matty can't beat that and I'm not playing any games with them. There is plenty of competition in the eight inch line right now. If they can't manufacture enough to meet demand, to h*ll with them. At this stage it's all about taking care of the customer. Play games and dangle that carrot too much, you'll lose your buyers quickly. Oh and then there is this report out this morning about falling sales... Take care of your customers Mattel.

I really hope Paul (Doc. Mego) will be able to get a few cases so we here at the museum will be able to get at least 1 each. I just have a really bad feeling about this Matty collector deal. Alot of us here have been on board with the EMCE deal since Paul started putting them out there and for us not to be able to get a good chance to keep up on our collection of these figures would really be a shame.

It's quite simple, if they charge a membership fee to buy Green Arrow EVERYONE should just boycott that figure.

It's a nice figure, but not nice enough to get raped in the behind for.

We as a community need to get together as one on some issues and see them through - even if it means temporarily not getting something you want.

I thought Teela was the eternia club exclusive figure and you had to join it to get her. That's why there is another non-member figure available this month as well. I would think GA will be available just like the JLU and DC Universe stuff.

There will be no membership fee to buy Green Arrow. Teela was part of the He Man Collectors club. However, I think its wrong to charge to join the club. Especially if you only wanted the one figure. I thought that Matty Collector was a way for people to pick and choose what they wanted. But I don't collect He Man.

So far I've bought the Gotham City Villain set as well as the Green Lantern set and I was never charged any sort of membership fee.

I bought the Tela ..., I got charged No Additional 20 Bucks for anything as far as a collector's fee ... You either did something wrong, maybe clicked to buy 2 of them,.. or something. It didn't happen to me.

BTW, you could only buy the MOTU Membership in a certain "window" of time..., that window has passed, I believe for a yr. The membership Fee insured you a complete set of the He-man figures offered for an entire Yr, no more hoping you got home in time, to see them sold out,.. as well as the Exclusive Wonderbread He-man figure..., so considering the He-Man figures go for 20 ,.. that's what your paying for,.. & you get to never miss a future offering at 20 a figure either.

Im gonna skip anyhow the whole thing made me tired. Anyhow I am trying to convince my wife to get the 1:6 scale Wonder Woman that just came out. I really want wait for new Megos so I can stop having to spend 80.00 for a decent incarnation of our favorite characters.

I ordered my Teela right away, in fact three Teelas and a few Ray's and there was no fee for membership at all my friend. Maybe you entered something in wrong?

I would not do that. The 1:6 scale Wonder Woman has gotten the worst review of all the 1:6 figures from DC. The DC Direct forum at DC Comics just rakes her over the coals.
