My friend and partner Joe Sena is a big Major Matt Mason fan.
He would love to see us working on them too.

I don't know what Mattel's plans are for that character.

I would love to have the luxury to make pirates, knights, romans,
presidents, cowboys, etc. but the support base is too small to
do production in China. The community here will buy maybe 50,
but still want factory quality for a cheap price.

Supposedly Mattel is working on something (or reserving the right to) because of a movie planned by Universal about Major Matt Mason (pushed by MMM fan Tom Hanks). Read about it here:

I think the Colorforms Aliens/MMM thing would be very cool.

Major Matt Mason is a plus. I've been wanting "Mego" versions of him for about 3 months now. Some aliens and some robots too.

Exclusive Premiere had some great properties, just ugly figures. I'd love to see James Bond or Matt Dillon Gunsmoke. James West, Wild Wild West. How about Man from Uncle, The Prisoner, The Avengers, Green Hornet. The skies the limit for undone figures in the Mego style.

Unfortunately there's a limit to the necessary funds to make 'em

Perhaps they could be persuaded to make a "limited edition" of a figure or two in an 8" scale, regardless of what they are planning??

We have to to think on the mass market scale.
what we would like, might not sell to the masses.
I always believe and still do you carry what you can sell not what you like or want.

I was hoping Castaway toys would get the rights for GH for their 8" Captain Action line.
