EMCE vs CTVTs

I like the emce much better also. My son plays with the ctvt knights and has already managed to break the hands while trying to use weapons. I wish emce would have remade those along with the monsters.

I actually had a friend with money ready to back me in 2002 to go
into production with the knights, pirates, robin hood, and the monsters,
but I could not in good conscience take his money knowing that there
was just not enough mego fans out there to make back his money.

I was very excited about CTV until I saw the actual product. I
contacted them to offer my help but they declined. I found out
a lot of the details that made me realize the venture was doomed.

I was right in the first place - the numbers just weren't there.

That's a very "logical" assumption. I think a Star Trek Collector would buy an EMCE Figure...even if he wasn't into Mego collecting.

If you have any serious interest in getting rid of all of those CTVT bodies you may want to try and place a listing for them here in the market place. There may be people here wanting to pick up a bunch of these for inexpensive customs so long as the price is right of course. I seen an ad the other day that someone was actually requesting to trade for some. Just a thought.

Send them to me. I need parts and cannon fodder. Offline me if you want a place to send them. I can fix them and use them. My daugther and I uses what we can and adjust them and make them into lesser known customs.

I have bought 19 EMCE figures (all Trek and Apes) with no serious problems. I however bought one CTVT figure and his leg was broken, I was amazed at how cheap the plastic was.
